Xu: Yes. After graduating from the Japanese department of Chuka University in 2006, I studied abroad in Japan and majored in economics at Heisei University. After graduation I hoped to work for a company where I could make use of what I had learned, and when I found the job opening on your website, I applied.

Xu: I, I am sorry. (continuing) In my seminar I was researching marketing, and I came to want to know how it could actually be used in the real world. So in my third year, at my seminar professor's suggestion, I applied for an internship and had the chance to train at an advertising agency in Japan. There I feel I learned things about marketing in the field that studying alone could never teach me. My friends also often tell me that I have a calm side. At university I belonged to the basketball club, and I liked working out game plans and analyzing the opposing teams, so I think that is why they say so.

Xu: Yes. First, solid language ability, and beyond that, understanding the other person's culture and religion. On top of that, I think personal qualities such as consideration for others and openness matter as well.
