Creator Agreement
1. Scope
This Creator Agreement applies to any user-made course produced in the flowtype.ai editor and submitted for publication on the public catalog (the "Creator Content"). Submitting for publication constitutes acceptance of this Agreement; if you do not accept, keep the course private for personal use only.
2. Ownership & License
- You represent and warrant that you own all rights to, or have valid licenses for, every asset incorporated in the Creator Content (audio, video, text, cover image, illustrations, etc.), or that such assets are in the public domain.
- You grant flowtype.ai a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable right to host, cache, transcode, and stream the Creator Content for the purpose of providing learning services on this platform.
- The platform will not use Creator Content to train third-party models or resell the underlying media as a standalone product.
3. Liability
- You bear sole legal responsibility for any third-party claim (copyright, publicity, defamation, etc.) arising out of your Creator Content.
- The platform will rely on safe-harbor protections under applicable law and will respond to valid takedown requests under Section 5.
- If your conduct causes the platform losses (damages, settlements, attorneys' fees), you agree to indemnify the platform.
4. Prohibited Content
You may not publish content that:
- contains sexually explicit material, violence, self-harm, hate speech, or promotion of illegal goods/services;
- copies or otherwise misappropriates another creator's course or media;
- infringes minors' rights;
- violates the laws of any jurisdiction in which the platform operates.
5. Review, Unlisting & Deletion
- All publications and material edits are subject to platform review under this Agreement, applicable law, and platform operating rules.
- Upon a valid takedown request or proactive detection, the platform may unlist or delete Creator Content and may suspend the offending account when necessary.
- Creators may request that their Creator Content be UNLISTED at any time. Users who have already begun the course continue to access the version they are bound to.
- Once Creator Content has been published and is being used by other learners, hard-deletion by the creator is no longer supported, in order to protect those learners' progress.
6. Revenue & Commercialization
- In the initial release, the platform does not pay creators any revenue share.
- The fact that paid users consume Creator Content does not create an employment, agency, or partnership relationship between the creator and the platform.
- The platform reserves the right to introduce revenue-share or incentive programs in the future. New programs will not apply retroactively.
7. Public Attribution
- Your account display name (
User.name) and avatar (User.image) will be used as the public creator byline by default. - If you rename your account, the byline on previously published courses updates accordingly. Please be aware of this default behavior.
8. Changes to This Agreement
- This Agreement may be updated as the platform evolves; updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
- Re-submitting for publication or editing a course after a new version takes effect constitutes acceptance of that version.
